Modi Govt 7th Anniversary: 7 Years Of Challenges & Achievements

Modi Govt 7th Anniversary: Seven years full of challenges and achievements of Modi government amid Corona epidemic.

Modi govt 7th anniversary, when BJP came to power for the first time in the year 2014, there were many challenges before the country.

Today, it is necessary to discuss how successful the Modi government has been in getting the country out of those challenges.

After taking oath as Prime Minister for the first time in 2014, Narendra Modi said, “My government is committed to poor welfare.” This was a sign of moving forward on the concept of a welfare state.

The question was how will Modi implement the spirit of ‘poor welfare’. This question was also because the country has seen the fate of poor welfare promises for decades.

Certainly there was a need to adopt policy changes and innovations instead of following the old stereotypes.

The biggest obstacle in the path of poor welfare was the poor’s rights not reaching the poor directly.

For decades, the country has not developed any transparent mechanism through which the rights of the poor can be directly passed on to the poor.

There were crores of poor families in the country who were outside the mainstream economy. Due to the absence of his bank account, it was not possible to give any financial benefit directly to the beneficiary.

Today more than 42 crore people of the country are connected with the banks.

It has been of great benefit in the economic upliftment of the poor that the economic dividend of 319 schemes of 54 ministries is directly reaching the account of the poor without any middleman.

The system of direct benefit transfer has proved to be a panacea for quick financial assistance to the general public during the Corona period.

Jan Dhan Yojana is an example of how the picture of schemes can be changed due to working style and policy changes.

No government is sufficient enough to have a sense of poor welfare, to implement it, the right policy, accurate decisions and strong leadership matters.

The country has felt this change after the coming of the BJP government.

In its first five-year term, the Modi government has made successful efforts with the right intentions, from economic reforms and legal complexities to Ease of Doing.

To increase investment in the country, increase production capacity, promote self-employment, accelerate the development of infrastructure and strengthen India’s credibility in the world, the Modi government has done all-round work.

A complete assessment of the performance of any government cannot be done by ignoring its ideological commitment and the promises made in the manifesto.

In the very first session of Parliament held after the formation of the government in the year 2019, the government took a historic decision to abolish Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

This historical problem was resolved by bifurcating the state into two parts, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, giving the status of a union territory.

The government was also successful in passing the law against three divorces stuck in the Rajya Sabha for the last term.

In November of the same year, the landmark judgment of the Supreme Court came on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

In this sequence, the passing of the Citizenship Amendment Act in the Winter Session of Parliament was also a major achievement of the government.

All these decisions were pending for decades. The Modi government was successful in fulfilling it according to its ideology and its manifesto.

While doing all this, the government may not have even imagined that it is going to face a big challenge in the coming times.

The corona infection along with the whole world also knocked in India in the early 2020s. Gradually, this infection started spreading throughout the country.

For both the government and the people, this crisis was like a completely new and unsolvable puzzle. The Modi government went ahead with the option of complete lockdown.

It was a bold decision. After this decision, the exodus of workers came as a big problem to the government, but the government worked on many fronts to reduce the problems of the people with complete planning.

In the fight against Corona, the country showed vigor on every front. Along with handling the situation, the country also started the vaccination campaign after completing two vaccine trials at its level.

Modi Govt 7th Anniversary: At one point it seemed that the country would soon overcome this epidemic completely. But then at the end of March, its second wave started spreading.

Although the second wave of Corona has proved to be more dangerous, the central government has always been ready to provide assistance other than the availability of oxygen to the states in this difficult situation.

More than Rs 200 crore from the PM Cares Fund was given to the states by the Central Government on time to set up an oxygen plant, but most of the states showed less enthusiasm on time.

The apathy of the states and lack of timely preparedness is also one of the reasons for the horror of the second wave.

The government is also working on a war footing to deal with this second wave of Corona and the situation is getting improved day by day
