He had said that if the loudspeakers were not removed, Hanuman Chalisa would be played in front of the mosques in a loud voice.

Significantly, on April 2, at Shivaji Park in Dadar, Mumbai, Raj Thackeray had warned that his party workers would play Hanuman Chalisa in front of mosques if loudspeakers were not removed from mosques.

It started in the Ghatkopar area of ​​Mumbai and then in Nashik, MNS workers started playing Hanuman Chalisa.

On this issue, Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil had warned that strict action would be taken if efforts were made to create tension in the society.

After giving a warning, Raj Thackeray also said that I am not against prayer or any particular religion. Every religion has the right to pray, but I am proud of my religion.
