Messi scored five goals for Argentina for the first time, Brazil won by Neymar’s goal.

Legendary player Lionel Messi scored five goals for Argentina for the first time during their 5-0 win against Estonia in an international friendly football match in Spain.

He reaches fourth place on the list of most goalscorers in international men’s football.

Messi gave the team the lead by scoring a penalty in the eighth minute. Then in the 45th minute, he doubled the team’s lead by scoring a goal from Papu Gomez.

Before Estonia’s team could recover, Messi scored a goal in the 47th minute on Nahuel Molina’s cross.

Messi continued his game with a goal from the center of the box in the 71st minute to take the team’s lead 4-0.

He then scored the fifth goal for the team five minutes later in the 76th minute with a shot from the center of the box. Messi had never scored five goals for Argentina in a senior-level match before.

The Argentine star during this period overtook former Hungarian great Ferenc Puskas, who has 84 goals to his name.

Ronaldo scored in Portugal’s victory:
