Cinemas have opened since October 15, but in the wake of Panademic many big films are still being released on OTT platforms.
Along with this, many web series are also going to be released on different platforms in the last month of the year.
The movies
The emotional drama film Darban will be released on Zee 5 on 4 December, starring Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Rasika Duggal and Flora Saini in the lead roles.
This story of a boss and his loyal servant is based on the story of Rabindranath Tagore. On December 4, another very special film Bombay Rose will appear on Netflix.
It is an animation film directed by Geetanjali Rao. Apart from Sayali Khare, Amit Diondi, Anurag Kashyap has been the voice of various characters in the film.
On December 11, the world of OTT will be epic. The horror-thriller Durgamati is set to be released on Amazon Prime.
Which will feature Bhumi Pednekar, Arshad Warsi, Mahi Gill, Jisshu Sengupta and Karan Kapadia in the lead roles.
This remake of the Telugu film Bhagmati is directed by G Ashok, while Akshay Kumar is the producer.
Tebraz, directed by Girish Malik, is an emotional film in which Sanjay Dutt plays the army officer.
Sanjay Dutt’s Torbaaz is coming on Netflix to compete with Amazon Prime’s Durgamati, which stars Nargis Fakhri and Rahul Dev along with Sanjay.
The spy-thriller Lahore Confidential is releasing on Zee 5 on December 11, starring Richa Chadha, Arunoday Singh, Karisma Tanna and Khalid Siddiqui in the lead roles.
The story revolves around RAW agent Ananya, who goes on a different journey with the ISI agent. It is directed by Kunal Kohli.
Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie Number 1 will be released on Amazon Prime on December 25, directed by David Dhawan.

Bhaag Beeni Bhaag Comedy Series will be released on Netflix, with Swara Bhaskar in the lead role. Its story is woven around a girl who wants to pursue a career in stand up comedy.
On December 11, the Srikanth Bashir web series will be released on Sony Live, a high octane action drama.
Its story is based on two police officers, Srikkanth and Bashir, who are trying to stop a terrorist plot to spread a dangerous virus like Covid-19 in Mumbai.
The series has been produced by Salman Khan’s television company Salman Khan. The series will feature actors like Rohit Chaudhary, Ashmita Jaggi, Kunal Pant, Pooja Gore.
The Black Widows series is scheduled to come out on Zee 5 on 18 December.
Directed by Birsa Dasgupta, the crime series stars Mona Singh, Shamita Shetty, Swastika Mukherjee, Raima Sen, Sharad Kelkar and Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead roles.
