Manoj Sinha: Families of three workers of Rajouri will get justice. Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha reiterated his determination to make the policy of zero tolerance a complete violation of human rights once again on Thursday.
He said that the families of the three workers of Rajouri killed in Amshipora (Shopian) will get justice at all costs. He met the family members of the deceased workers at their home and assured them of all possible help. Sinha said, I also follow what you say. Human rights abuses are unbearable in any way.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had gone to village Rajouri under the third phase B2V3 of the program towards the village. He also went to Tarkassi village, where three workers of Amshipora were claimed to have been killed by army personnel as terrorists in an encounter.
On arrival of the Lt. Governor, Tarkassi, a large number of people had also arrived from the surrounding areas. Lieutenant Governor went to Mohammed Yusuf’s house. Mohammad Yusuf’s son was one of the three workers killed.
The relatives of the other two workers were also present at the house of Mohammad Yusuf. In a conversation with the families of the victims, the Lt. Governor said that justice will happen in any case.
There will be no mercy on the criminals who does this heinous crime. Human rights abuses are wholly unbearable, from either side. The afflicted families requested the Lt. Governor to ensure justice and said that the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the State Administration have fully supported them in this matter.
The Lieutenant Governor assured the victims families that the state administration would provide all possible help to them. He appreciated the patience of the victim families and said that the courage with which they dealt in the matter is exemplary.
Due to their patience and a sense of confidence in the investigation of the police, the mischievous elements have not been able to make the case material. He said that every demand of the victim’s families will be fulfilled as soon as the investigation of the case is completed.
