Manchester United beat Westham United 2-1 in EPL, register a third win.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Jesse Lingard and a last-minute penalty saved by David Gaia helped Manchester United beat Westham United 2–1 at home in the English Premier League (EPL).

In this way, with four wins and one draw from five matches played in the EPL, Manchester United is now third in the points table with 13 points.

At the London Stadium in Westham’s home ground, Ronaldo was greeted by fans as he entered the field for Manchester United.

Manchester United then began to build pressure from the first half of the match.

But in the 30th minute, Westham’s first goal was scored by Saeed Benrahma with a direct kick from outside the box, and Manchester United goalkeeper David Gia was dodged.

Just five minutes later, in the 35th minute for Manchester United, Westham took a 1-0 lead.

Their star player Cristiano Ronaldo directed the ball towards the goal post on Bruno Fernandez’s cross, but Westham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski was caught with his hands.

Unable to take possession of the ball, Ronaldo swung the ball again, scoring an equalizer for Manchester United to make the score 1-1.

In this way, Ronaldo’s fourth such goal in the last three matches in which he had to try again to send the ball inside the goal post.

He had earlier scored similar goals against Newcastle in the EPL and Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League.

In the second half, both teams again took the field at a 1-1 draw, and Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood began to build up the pressure for Manchester United.

However, no goals were scored until the 72nd minute.

Then Manchester United manager Olegnar Solskjaer made two changes in the team in the 73rd minute and sent Jadon Sancho in place of Paul Pogba to Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood.

This benefited the team and Lingard scored a brilliant goal from inside the box in the 89th minute for Manchester United and the team took a 2-1 lead.

However, in injury time (90+2nd minute) of the match, United’s Luke Shaw accidentally hit the ball and Westham got a penalty.

But Westham’s Mark Noble failed to score a penalty and Manchester United goalkeeper David Gea made a brilliant defense to give the team a 2–1 victory.

Westham scored 13 goals during the match, while United converted two of the total of 17 shots.

In other matches, Chelsea beat Tattenham 3-0 in a one-sided fashion. For Chelsea, Thiago Silva in the 49th minute.

Angolo Kante in the 57th minute and Antonio Rudiger scored in the injury time (90+2) minute of the match to give the team a 3-0 win.

At the same time, Harry Kane and Son Heung Min could not score a single goal for Tattenham.

With this win, Chelsea’s team has now come on top of the points table with 13 points. Apart from Chelsea, Brighton also beat Leicester City 2-1.
