Lashkar Terrorist Faizal Munir, Arrested In Jammu

Lashkar terrorist Faizal Munir, arrested in Jammu, spilled the beans during police interrogation, saying – 80 thousand used to get weapons for delivery.

Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Faizal Munir, who was involved in the Amarnath Yatra and the conspiracy to attack political and religious leaders, used to get 80 thousand rupees for transporting drones thrown by Pakistan to terrorists in Kashmir.

He used to get this amount for transporting the weapons to Kashmir only once. In this work, his two other terrorist associates used to help.

Part of this amount was also given to terrorists. So far, all three have taken the items thrown by the drone to the hideout about 20 times.

Faizal Munir is a resident of Talab Khatika area of ​​Jammu. The Jammu Police arrested him along with Habib, a resident of Kathua, and Mian Sohail of Samba.

Arms, ammunition, and cash were recovered from his house. All three together were running the terrorist module. The Jammu police busted this module only on Monday.

Terrorist Faizal Munir has admitted in the interrogation of the police that he was in touch with his handler sitting in Pakistan using the Internet media apps Telegram and Signal.

For the last one and a half years, he used to talk to the handlers sitting in Pakistan through these apps and was taking necessary instructions from them.

He told the police that it was only through internet media that he was told when and where the weapons were to be thrown from the drone.

After getting the information, he along with his two accomplices Habib and Mian Sohail residents of Kathua used to collect these weapons, narcotics, and cash thrown from the drone.

So far, all three have taken the items thrown by the drone to the hideout about 20 times.

He had delivered most of the goods to Kashmir, while he had kept the consignment of weapons with him to carry out the crime in Jammu.

These weapons have been recovered by the Jammu Police from his house at Talab Khatika.

He was released on bail only two years ago.

Faizal Munir has been involved in terrorist incidents in the past as well. He had gone to jail. After his release from prison, he again took the path of terror.

In the year 2003, he was caught in connection with the grenade attack on Amarnath pilgrims near Hari Singh School located on Residency Road in Jammu.

The court found him guilty and sentenced him. He came out on bail about two years ago.

Also used to give part of the earnings to terrorists.

Faizal Munir told the police that he used to distribute the cash received from delivering weapons to the terrorists among his two associates Habib and Mian Sohail.

Apart from this, some part of it was also given to some terrorists in Kashmir.

Four and a half lakh rupees were recovered.

Police have recovered cash worth about Rs 4.5 lakh from terrorist Munir, which was thrown from Pakistan by drone along with weapons.

He had bought a car with the money received from delivering weapons to the terrorists. It has been confiscated by the police.
