Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Mohammad Aslam Shaikh’s Confession on Udhampur Twin Blast.

He revealed to investigating agencies that he had learned to plant bombs after watching a video sent from PoK.

Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Mohammad Aslam Shaikh was caught in the Udhampur twin blasts.

He has confessed in police interrogation that he learned to plant the bomb from a video that was sent to him on WhatsApp from PoK by Lashkar Commander Mohammad Amin alias Abu Khubib.

In the video, all the information was given about how to install a sticky IED bomb, how to fit it, how to set a timer, and where to put it in a car or building.

There was a demo. Mohammad Aslam Sheikh, after learning from this video, had fitted sticky IED bombs in two buses in Ramnagar.

Different investigation agencies are interrogating Lashkar terrorist Aslam in the Udhampur Twin Blast case.

Here Jakir alias Zubair, arrested from Kathua, has confessed during interrogation that on September 23, a consignment of weapons came from across the border through drones, which included detonator-fitted IED sticky bombs for the first time.

A sticky bomb and 20 thousand rupees have also been recovered from Zakir’s possession.

According to security agencies, the module of Lashkar and Jaish is sending consignments of weapons to Jammu and Kashmir through drones from across the border.

Both the arrested terrorists have also confessed that they have many accomplices in Jammu and Kashmir, whose names are not known but they are sleeper cells.

Sticky bombs coming through drones are reaching them too. A consignment had arrived by drone in Hiranagar sector and Dayalachakk of district Kathua.

Aslam Shaikh, along with his wife, received the consignment and took it to his home in Basantgarh, which included 5 sticky bombs and 3 IEDs.

He had planted two sticky bombs in IED buses. For your information, let us tell you that on 27-28 September there was a blast on two buses in Udhampur, in which two people were injured.

Both these blasts took place in buses parked at different places. However, both these buses belonged to the Udhampur-Ramnagar route.

The NIA, along with the SIA and Jammu and Kashmir Police, had detained around 1 dozen suspects for questioning.

The agencies found in their investigation that Mohammad Aslam Sheikh had come from Shimla for the same purpose.

He used to work here and was in contact with Lashkar commander Abu Khubayb across the border.

These blasts were carried out ahead of the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to show that all is not well in the Union Territory. The Home Minister is going to visit Baramulla on 5 October.
