Kerala Election Results: Fate of Vijayan Will Be Decided. Whether Pinarayi Vijayan will retain power in  Kerala or sit in opposition will be decided today; Know the whole personality including his political journey

The current Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan is a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He has a very close association with poverty.

He was born in a poor family. Born on 21 March 1944 in a poor family in Kannur district, Vijayan completed his schooling at Perlassery High School. After this, he studied in XII at Brennan College.

After finishing school, he started working as a handloom worker. They could not tolerate the atrocities and exploitation of the workers and decided to do something for them.

After this, he left work and took admission to college for further studies. There is a possibility about Pinarayi Vijayan in the state that after the results today, this time the change of history of Kerala will change every five years and will become the Chief Minister of Kerala again.

Such was the journey of politics.

Entered active politics through student unions before formally joining the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in 1964.

He held various important positions in the party, including being a member of the District Committee and District Secretariat in Kannur, before being elected Kannur District Secretary in 1986.

Eventually, he became Kerala State Secretary in 1998. Before taking charge of the Chief Minister, he served in several important departments including the Minister of Power and Cooperative Society in the state of Kerala.

He became the Kerala State Secretary in the year 1998 and remained in the post till 2015. He was arrested by the police during the Emergency.

Kerala Election Results: CPM Won in 2016.

In 2016 Dharmadam constituency was elected as the Chief Minister of Kerala defeating Mambaram Divakaran of Congress.

Earlier in the year 2002, he was elected a member of the Politburo of the CPI (M). In 1998, he was elected the state secretary of CPI (M) of Kerala.

1996 Congress wins KN Kannoth and wins Assembly elections from Penur seat. 1996 Served as Minister of Power and Co-operative Society in Kerala.
