Karnataka minister distributes tabs and laptops to students on PM Modi’s birthday.

Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan on Friday distributed 1,000 tabs and 350 laptops to the students of government and municipal schools in his assembly constituency Malleswaram, on the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Tabs were given to high school students and laptops to elementary school students.

Karnataka’s Higher Education and IT-BT Minister informed the gathering that gadgets have been contributed by various organizations and institutions to strengthen digital education in line with the New National Education Policy (NEP-2020).

Karnataka minister distributes tabs: During this, Narayan said, ‘We are fortunate that we have got a leader like Narendra Modi, who is leading the country by giving due prominence to all sectors including education and technology.

In the coming years, the Prime Minister has brought the National Education Policy with the aim of making India a ‘Vishwaguru’.

The Minister expressed his gratitude towards the organizations and institutions that contributed the gadgets.

Goa Governor announces financial assistance to 71 orphanages and old age homes.

Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai on Friday announced financial assistance to 71 orphanages and old age homes from the Governor’s Fund on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 71st birthday.

A statement issued by the Raj Bhavan said that the Governor has also announced financial assistance to 71 dialysis patients from the Governor’s discretionary fund.

Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday, the Governor has announced financial assistance for 71 old age homes, orphanages, and other similar institutions, the statement said.

Apart from this, the Governor has announced that 71 persons will get financial assistance from Raj Bhavan for dialysis treatment.

It said that interested persons and institutions have to apply with all personal details and information regarding their activities.

Applications should be addressed to the Secretary of the Governor and must be submitted before 30 September. Assistance will be approved on a first-come-first-served basis.
