Priyanka Gandhi won massive public support through 26 public meetings and roadshows in the state.

Now Congress government in 4 states. Now the Congress has governments on its own in Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka.

So on the other hand, in Tamil Nadu, Bihar, and Jharkhand, the Congress is still in the role of an ally in the coalition government.

Holding on to power in Karnataka will also benefit Congress in terms of strategy for the 2024 general elections.
