Karnataka: Doctors threaten to go on strike from September 15, demand for an increase in salary. Government doctors in Karnataka have threatened to go on strike from 15 September if their demand for salary is not met as per the scale of the central government health scheme.

Dr. GA Srinivas told the media that the President of Karnataka Government Medical Officers Association said that there is a disparity in our pay scale compared to doctors in the Department of Medical Education. We want that we should get equal pay for meds or equal doctors.

He also said that the association had given Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Health Minister B.S. A memorandum was submitted to Sriramulu, stating that he has asked us to hold these demands for some time in view of the COVID-19 epidemic.

According to Dr. Srinivas, there are more than 4,000 doctors associated with KGMOA. KGMOA is also angry that many government hospitals do not have adequate facilities.

At the same time, there are 970,20 active cases of corona virus in the state. So far 6,534 people have died in the state due to Corona.

There are 883697 active cases of the corona virus in the country. Out of the total cases, 3323950 infected people have been cured so far. With this, 72775 infected people have died due to corona in the country.
