Late Kalyan Singh, one of the pioneers of Indian politics, is now on his last journey.
Kalyan Singh, one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, passed away on Saturday at Sanjay Gandhi PGI, Lucknow.
His body was kept at the official residence of his grandson and minister in the Yogi Adityanath government, Sandeep Singh, since night.
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country’s Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh also reached Lucknow to visit the mortal remains of Kalyan Singh.
He was accompanied by Brajesh Pathak, a cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath government. Rajnath Singh bowed to the mortal remains of Kalyan Singh.
Now the body of Kalyan Singh will be kept in the Vidhan Bhawan. Where leaders and MLAs of opposition parties will pay tribute to him and visit his mortal remains.
CM Yogi Adityanath has given the responsibility to the ministers for this work in the Vidhan Bhavan. Swami Prasad Maurya has been posted at Sandeep Singh’s residence.
The responsibility of getting the last darshan work done in Vidhan Bhavan has been entrusted to Siddharthnath along with Suresh Khanna.
From the residence of Sandeep Singh, Mahendra Singh and Ashutosh Tandon will come to Vidhan Bhawan with the body of the deceased.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also reach Lucknow at 2.40 pm. In Lucknow, Dhami will have the last darshan of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh at the BJP office in Lucknow.
