J&K Security Alert: Firing on LoC

It is worth noting that on Wednesday, a soldier was injured in an incident of firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said that the soldier was posted at a forward post in the Kalsian area of ​​​​Naushera sector. During that time, the soldier was shot.

The injured soldier was given first aid and then rushed to the Military Hospital Udhampur for specialised treatment. Officials said the cause of the firing was being investigated. They said an explosion was also reported on the zero line in the area around 6 am, following which three rounds of firing took place. However, officials said there were no reports of any casualties in the blast.

Infiltration attempt failed on India-Pakistan border, BSF jawans on high alert; search operation continues

On the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, BSF jawans foiled an infiltration attempt on the India-Pakistan border in Samba.
