A unique record is also recorded in the name of Sachin and Herath.

Asia Cup Qualifier: These teams will compete against Asia Cup qualifiers to start on August 20.

Asia Cup 2022 is going to start on 27th August but before that the Asia Cup qualifier matches will be played from 20th August.

Four teams will compete in these qualifier matches, out of which one team will get a chance to compete with the other 5 teams.

These four teams are Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuwait, and the host UAE.

Out of this, one team will become the third team in the group of India, and Pakistan. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in the second group.
