Hindu Mahasabha leader put up a controversial poster on Shri Krishna Janmashtami, and the administration took action: Karnataka Banner Controversy.

A banner congratulating Sri Krishna Janmashtami was put up by a local Hindu Mahasabha leader in Surathkal, Karnataka, sparking controversy.

The banner had pictures of Nathuram Godse and VD Savarkar, after which controversy arose.

Seeing the growing controversy in the area only after putting up this banner, the administration took immediate action and the banner was removed.

Even before this, poster controversy has come to the fore in Karnataka.

The controversy escalated after the controversial banner.

Let us tell you that the leader of Hindu Mahasabha had put up a controversial banner to congratulate Janmashtami.

Immediately after receiving the complaint on Thursday, the administrative officials removed the banner.

According to the information, this banner was put up at various places in the city at the behest of the leader of the Hindu Mahasabha.

Along with this, some controversial slogans were also written on the banner. Due to this, an unusual situation could have arisen in the area.

Police sources said the banner was put up by Rajesh Pavitran, a local leader of the Hindu Mahasabha, which was removed on the orders of the Mangaluru Municipal Corporation commissioner after receiving a complaint.

According to the information, the police have started the investigation by registering a complaint in this matter.

Police security has been tightened in Surathkal in view of Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, sources said. Along with this, the administration is keeping a close watch to deal with any situation.

The poster was also put up on August 14.

Let us tell you that earlier on August 14, Hindu Mahasabha had put up a banner with Savarkar’s picture on the Surathkal flyover, which also sparked controversy.

At the same time, Savarkar’s banner was torn down in Shivamogga and Tamakuru, after which Section 144 had to be imposed in the area.
