Jaishankar raised the issue of terrorism at the SCO summit, saying – Terror funding should be stopped.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar chaired the SCO meeting at the Taj Exotica resort in Benaulim, Goa. During this, he raised the issue of terrorism.

The special thing is that in front of the countries that participated in the SCO meeting including Pakistan, and China, he said in clear words about terrorism that it will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

“The scourge of terrorism shows no signs of abating,” said Foreign Minister Jaishankar.

We firmly accept as true that terrorism can not be justified and have to be stopped in all its paperwork and manifestations, along with cross-border terrorism.

Combating Terrorism is one of the core mandates of the SCO.” At the same time, he also said that turning a blind eye to terrorism would be detrimental to our security interests.

During this meeting, apart from Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari of Pakistan, foreign ministers of other countries were present.

S Jaishankar said that I am happy to host you in the first Indian Presidency of SCO.

During this tenure as SCO Chairman, India successfully hosted more than 100 meetings and events, including 15 ministerial meetings.

Pakistan’s foreign minister arrived on an India tour after 12 years.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan attended the SCO meeting being held in Goa. The special thing is that this happened after 12 years when Pakistan’s foreign minister had come to India.

He also shared a video on social media before his visit. In this, he said that his visit to India shows the importance of SCO for Pakistan.

Jaishankar raised the issue of terrorism at the SCO summit: Foreign Ministers’ Bilateral Talks.

It is expected that Sakhi S Jaishankar, Ministers of Kuwait, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Myanmar, and Maldives will hold bilateral talks in today’s meeting.

Previously, Foreign Minister Jaishankar had a bilateral meeting with Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtior Saidov.

Jaishankar has also tweeted about this. In a tweet, he welcomed Bakhtiyar Saidov on his visit to India.

Uzbekistan’s strong support from India’s side was also appreciated. Jaishankar said that our bilateral partnership will continue to grow in various fields.

At the same time, along with Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang, Jaishankar also emphasized ensuring peace in the border areas.
