Every color of Tehzeeb’s city-e-Lucknow is unique. The Rath Yatra started about 100 years ago on the lines of Jagannath Puri in this city inhabited by Lakshmana.

Kundan Lal-Kunjbihari Lal, the builder of the Char Dham temple located at Rani Katra of Chowk, started the journey.

Vishnu Tripathi ‘Lankesh’, a resident of here, told that the form of small Kashi is visible in the area.

The plot behind the construction of Char Dham temple in Rani Katra of Chaupatia is that Kunj Bihari Lal wanted to make such people feel like traveling due to financial constraints or lack of time.

Apart from Ravana’s court in the temple, Char Dham temple and the temple of heaven-hell are also present. Ramkumar Agrawal renovated it and expanded it.

Due to corona infection, this time the palanquin of God will be taken out in the temple premises itself.

Shri Bhagwan Jagannath, Mata Subhadra, and Balabhadra are placed in a palanquin of flowers.

Riddhi Kishore, General Secretary of Shree Shubh Sanskar Samiti, said that the Yatra will not go out due to security.
