The reason was the defeat in the last 4 matches.

Kohli’s team landed with high hopes this season but the result did not change even in the 13th season.

Bangalore, who qualified for the qualifiers, needed to score big against Hyderabad but the team managed to score 131 runs on 7 wickets.

The bowlers did bring the team back in the match but experienced Kane Williamson and Jason Holder dashed Bangalore’s hopes. Hyderabad team achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 19.4 overs.

All the defeats the team had lost in the last four matches were defending the target.

In such a situation, when Hyderabad captain David Warner decided to bowl after winning the toss, the fans felt that the team’s defeat was decided.

Virat Kohli’s failure to come to the opening on him increased the concern of the team.

The team had suffered the same defeat in the last four matches of the season. Bangalore were defeated by Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets. After this, they lost by 5 wickets against the Mumbai team.

In the match played with Hyderabad, the team lost by 5 wickets, while in the last match, Delhi defeated them by 6 wickets and made it to the playoffs.

Captain Virat Kohli once again failed to get the team the title and failed to score in the crucial match. Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Bangalore by 6 wickets in the Eliminator to advance to the second qualifier.
