Rapid and RTPCR tests are being done at Jammu railway station on an average of three thousand passengers every day.

In a week, only three passengers have come infected so far. Two passengers came infected on Friday and one on Thursday.

But in the Reasi district, most of the travelers are getting infected. On average two to two and a half thousand tests are being done at Katra railway station.

Nine passengers who came to visit Mata Vaishno Devi at this station on Friday got infected while on Thursday, 73 passengers got infected.

These are also only the passengers coming by some special trains. According to Katra’s Block Medical Officer Dr. Gopal, the passengers coming from Shri Shakti and Hemkund Sahib are more infected.

Passengers coming from other trains are rarely coming infected. All these travelers have come for the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi.

Similarly, the three passengers who have come infected in Jammu in a week, three are residents of different areas of Jammu.

According to the Chief Health Officer of Jammu, Dr. JP Singh, the travelers coming to visit Mata Vaishno Devi in ​​Jammu come to Jammu after having darshan.

His tests are already done in Katra. Very few devotees come here directly. Earlier here also four-five devotees used to come infected every day but now they do not come.

He says that all the devotees are monitored. Efforts are made that there should be rapid tests of devotees only.

RTPC tests at the station are held every day at around two hundred. At the same time, no passenger has come infected in Kathua in a week.

129 more infected in Jammu and Kashmir: On Friday, 129 more people got infected in Jammu and Kashmir.

With this, the number of devotees who have been infected so far, 3,23,390 people have been infected. 13 passengers are also included among those infected.

At the same time, the good thing is that not a single patient has died in the last 24 hours. Not only this, after the recovery of 112 patients, so far 3,17,471 patients have become healthy.

According to the data of the National Health Mission, out of 129 infected people on Friday, 66 are residents of the Jammu division and 63 from the Kashmir division.

In the Jammu division, the maximum number of 16 were found in Doda district, 15 in Jammu district, nine in Rajouri, five in Udhampur.

Similarly, 21 cases were reported in Srinagar and 11 in Budgam in Kashmir.

Not a single case was reported in Shopian, Bandipora, and Ramban. Now there are 1324 active patients left in Jammu and Kashmir.
