Indo-Pak border: 15 kg heroin thrown in Barmer over the cordon from Pakistan, 1 smuggler caught.

Heroin has been supplied in large quantities from across the border once again in the border district of Barmer, adjacent to the India-Pakistan border.

This heroin has been delivered to Punjab from Barmer. The smugglers of Pakistan had thrown 15 kg of heroin in India twice over the wirebandi from across the border.

The police have arrested a local smuggler in this case. During interrogation, he confessed that 15 kg of heroin had come from Pakistan.

It was given to the drug smugglers of Punjab. Police presented the accused in court and took him on remand for three days.

According to the information, the BSF and the Gadra Road Police of Barmer had received inputs that a large quantity of heroin has come to India from across the border in Satliya Tala of Bijawal.

On this, the suspect Swaroop Singh was caught and interrogated, then shocking revelations were made. Swaroop Singh is a resident of Satalia Tala in Bijawal.

In the joint interrogation of security agencies, it came to light that 15 kg of heroin had come from Pakistan on two occasions. Later he was handed over to the smugglers of Punjab.

Indo-Pak border: The Accused’s associate son absconded.

The Gadra Road Police has registered a case under the NDPS Act and handed over its investigation to Girab SHO Nathusingh.

It is being told that Swaroop and his son Moti Singh had ordered this consignment of heroin from Pakistani smugglers. After that Moti Singh escaped on suspicion of BSF and security agencies.

The police are now looking for Moti Singh, son of Swaroop Singh. At present, the police have produced the accused Swaroop Singh in court and have taken him on remand for 3 days for interrogation.

After Sriganganagar, drug smugglers are now active in Barmer.

According to Girab SHO Nathusingh, the accused Swaroop Singh has confessed to bringing heroin from across the border.

When this heroin was imported to India and when it was handed over to Punjab smugglers, the accused is being questioned intensively.

However, heroin smuggling from across the border has become a major challenge for the Barmer Police, BSF, and security agencies.

Recently, cases of heroin smuggling across the border from Pakistan through drones were also reported in the Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan, located on the border.
