India vs Sri Lanka Test in Mohali: The first test match between India and Sri Lanka will be held at Mohali Stadium from March 4 to 8.

After five years, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali will once again host the Test match. The Indian cricket team will play the first test match of the series with Sri Lanka in Mohali.

This match will be played from March 4 to 8. Let us tell you that before this, the last Test match was played between India and England on 26-30 November 2016 at the stadium.

This Test match, to be held in Mohali after a long gap, is going to be historic. Because Mohali Test match will be 100 matches for former Indian team captain Virat Kohli.

In this series, three T20 and two Test matches will be played between the two teams. Due to Corona, the schedule of this series was changed.

Now BCCI has announced it. The first Test series was to be with Sri Lanka, but now the T20 series will be played first, after that the Test series will start.

India vs Sri Lanka Test in Mohali: No big event in IS Bindra Stadium Mohali even for three years.

IS Bindra Cricket Stadium of Punjab Cricket Association was established in 1993. 26,000 spectators can watch the match in the stadium.

The first ODI match at the stadium was held on 22 November 1993 between India and South Africa. At the same time, the last ODI match was played between India and Australia on 10 March 2019.

The first test match at the stadium was played between India and West Indies on 10–14 December 1994, while the last test match was played between India and England on 26–30 November 2016.

The first T20 match was played between India and Sri Lanka on 12 December 2009 at PCA Mohali. The last T20 match was played on 18 September 2019.

The construction work of Mullanpur Stadium is also in its final stages.

Maharaja Yadvinder Singh of Punjab Cricket Association is almost ready in Mullanpur Cricket Stadium too, but as of now BCCI rules cannot organize international level tournaments in it.

Therefore, this match will be hosted by PCA’s IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. It is worth noting that this stadium is still under construction.

It is equipped with many types of state-of-the-art facilities. Major tournaments to be held in the future will be played in this stadium.
