India vs Bangladesh in the quarter-finals of Under-19 World Cup: Team India would like to settle the account with Bangladesh in the quarter-finals, was defeated in 2020 final.

Team India may have won all its three matches of the league stage, but the challenge was no less in its path.

Before the match against Ireland, five players including the captain and vice-captain got infected with Corona. As a result, 11 players could be dropped.

Apart from Captain Yash Dhul, Vice-Captain Sheikh Rashid, Aaradhya Yadav, Vasu Vats, Manav Parakh, and Siddharth Yadav were infected. Despite this, the team performed well.

The road to defending champions Bangladesh reaching the quarter-finals was not easy. The team finished second in Group A after losing their first match to England.

The team defeated Canada by eight wickets. They then beat UAE by nine wickets (Duckworth-Lewis rule) in a rain-affected match.

Team India had to face defeat at the hands of Bangladesh by three wickets in the final match of ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2020.

Batting first, India scored 177 runs in 47.2 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the highest 88 runs. Apart from this, none of the batsmen could stay on the crease.

The overs were reduced to 47 in the second innings due to rain. The target also became 170. Bangladesh team achieved it in 42.1 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
