India and Afghanistan relation: Amidst the growing influence of the Taliban, President Ghani narrates to Pak, praised PM Modi fiercely.

Amidst the growing dominance of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has described India as a true partner and friend in the development of his country.

Ghani’s statement came at a time when, a day earlier, he had told Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan a lot about Pakistan-Taliban relations.

President Ghani also spoke about his relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Afghan security forces had stopped the Taliban from moving forward.

He has also expressed grief over the death of Indian journalist Danish Siddiqui.

In an interview with The leading media house, President Ghani said that Afghan security forces have stopped Taliban militants from advancing into towns and border posts.

He acknowledged that the Taliban have captured several important bases in Afghanistan in recent days. The President said that he would keep the doors of dialogue open with both Pakistan and the Taliban.

President Ghani denied any military aid from India to stop the Taliban’s increasing attacks. He said that India is a true partner and friend in the development of Afghanistan.

He has stressed that our goal is to defeat the Taliban in the country. He made it clear that the time for the use of international coalitions or forces in Afghanistan is over.

What do you expect from India at this point in time on this question? Has Afghanistan sought any kind of military support? On this, President Ghani said that not now.

He said that India has made a remarkable contribution to the development of Afghanistan. He said that we have a very cordial relationship with Modi. He is very intelligent. India is a true friend.

Ghani is keen on a deal with the Taliban.

The Afghan President said that the goal of our government is to make a political agreement in Afghanistan so that peace in the country can be maintained for a long time.

He stressed that he wanted to avoid the fate of countries such as Algeria, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, where conflict continues to this day.

On the question of whether Britain is ready to hold talks with the Taliban if it comes to power in Afghanistan. On this Ashraf Ghani said that no, I do not agree. We have relations with them.
