Opposition coalition Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) spokesperson and PML-N Punjab province president Rana Sanaullah has said that the government will be responsible for any major incident if Imran Khan tries to stop the Lahore rally.

He told that MPs of all opposition parties will collectively resign in order to have re-election in the country. The purpose of giving these resignations will be to hold a fair election again in the country.

Here PDM convenor Fazlur Rahman has said that the workers should perform at the headquarters every Sunday and Friday.

The government has also given its strength to stop the rally. On Tuesday, a new FIR and 150 opposition activists were arrested.

Journalist shot dead in Pakistan, police failed to arrest motorcycle-borne assailants

A journalist was shot and killed in Pakistan. The incident took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to the police, Kanyas Javed was a local journalist living in Medina Colony in Dera Ismail Khan district.

Two motorcycle-borne assailants came to his house and, on seeing Javed, shot at him with sharp-fire shots. He had several bullets in his stomach.

The police has not made any arrest in this case.
