In the Taliban, he is also called by the name of Amir al-Moumin or Mullah. Akhundzada is the head of the Taliban’s Sharia court and is also known for issuing fatwas.

Earlier, Mullah Umar and Akhtar Mansoor, who headed the organization, also consulted him to issue fatwas. He has also been a senior member of the Shura of the Taliban.

In the Taliban, he is also called by the name of Rahbar, which means leader. Let us tell you that the future Taliban government will be based on the Iranian model.

The supreme leader in Iran is Ayatollah Khamenei. He is called there only to be Rehbar. In the Taliban government, this place will belong to Akhundzada.

Like Mulla Umar, he also teaches terror lessons to people in jihadi madrassas. This Mullah has also been an advisor to Omar.

Akhundzada was born in Kandahar. His name means gift of God in the Arabic language. A few years after his birth, his family moved to Quetta in the Balochistan province of Pakistan.

In the 80s, he also joined the war against the Russian army. In the year 2017, his son was killed in a suicide attack on the US Army.

Akhundzada was attacked several times in 2012 and 2019 but each time it survived.
