Help extended to stranded Bakkarwals at 11 thousand feet in Kishtwar by Army: Jammu.
In difficult circumstances, the army came as an Angel to help the Bakkarwalas trapped in the snowfall at an altitude of 11 thousand feet.
The consignment along with cattle was stranded in heavy snow in Naginsur of Bakkarwal student area going to Nawapachi in Kishtwar from the hilly area of Kathua district.
In the cold, this family did not have any food and drink. With this, a child of the family also became ill.
The army post in Bandarkut area was informed by Bakkarwal Bashir Ahmed that his wife, three children and goods were trapped in cattle snowfall.
The army got into action soon after getting its information. Rescuers from Chingam Post set out to help.

During this period, first aid was also given to the sick child. While thanking the army for their help, Bashir Ahmad said that in the summer the family moves with cattle to the Nawapachi area of Kishtwar.

If the army did not come for help, it would have been difficult for the family to save their lives in the absence of food and drink.
