Gulf Cooperation Council: Foreign ministers of Gulf countries consult to resolve diplomatic dispute.

Gulf countries foreign ministers held a virtual meeting on Sunday.

They held this meet ahead of the upcoming conference to seek a diplomatic solution on issues of regional stability and the United States’ efforts to build a united front against Iran.

Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain severed diplomatic ties with Qatar in 2017.

Doha, however, denied the allegations, saying that neighboring countries wanted to curb his sovereignty.

Riyadh has put forward a resolution to resolve the dispute. America’s newly elected President Joe Biden has also indicated softness, unlike the current president.

Bahrain has said in a statement that the virtual meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers on Sunday will form the basis of the 41st GCC conference to be held on January 5.
