Government should stop pretending normalcy in Kashmir: Panun Kashmir.

Panun Kashmir, an organization of displaced Kashmiri Pandits, said on Saturday that pretending to be normal and underestimating the gravity of the situation in the Valley would amount to committing suicide.

Panun Kashmir reiterated the demand for permanent resettlement of all displaced Hindus and separation of Jammu for peace in the region.

Besides creating a homeland for displaced Pandits in the north and east of the Jhelum river.

Terrorists in separate incidents in the Valley this month killed two teachers, including two teachers.

Eleven people, including a Kashmiri Pandit pharmacy owner and five non-local laborers, have been killed.

Panun Kashmir Chairman Dr. Ajay Churangu while talking to reporters said that the Central Government should understand the situation of Jammu and Kashmir without thinking of appeasement.

What is happening in J&K is not a law and order problem. It is not just a problem of terrorism. He claimed that whatever is happening is jihad.

Referring to the thousands of Kashmiri displaced Pandits who got jobs under the employment package in the Valley, Churgu said they are like caged pigeons and are in danger all the time.

He said the government’s policy makes them hostage to the Muslim fascist communal system. He also demanded to declare Pakistan as a terrorist country.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday sought answers from the concerned authorities on the latest incidents of killings of civilians, especially minorities.

Shah also took strong exception to the alleged loopholes in the security system. He directed the complete destruction of terrorism and the complete dismantling of the network of anti-nationals.

Amit Shah took stock of the overall security scenario of the state in the Jammu and Kashmir Integrated Headquarters meeting.
