Fraudulent Business Was Going On: Bilaspur

Fraudulent business was going on at the behest of Pakistani handler, five arrested: Bilaspur. The Kotwali police, which is investigating the case of cheating of 65 lakh rupees from a city soldier in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, has got an international thugs gang.

The police have arrested five gang miscreants for Fraudulent business, who were acting on the instructions of Pakistani handlers. Police seized Rs 15 lakh cash from the gang, while Rs 27 lakh was deposited in banks.

Janakaram Patel (52), a resident of Hardadih in the Sipat area, is a city soldier. On September 10, he had complained of cheating of 65 lakhs by giving away the reward to Kotwali police station.

A team was formed in the case and sent to Odisha along with Rewa, Dewas, Indore in Madhya Pradesh, and Mumbai in Maharashtra. Investigation revealed that the amount of the fraud was deposited in 12 bank accounts operated from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Bengal.

The maximum amount of Rs 50 lakh has been deposited in the account of Virat Singh (21), resident of village Linebadhari Samaria in Rewa district. Virat has transferred money through UPI (Unified Payment Interface) to the accounts of Rajesh Jaiswal and Harsh Jaiswal, residents of Mumbai.

The police questioned Virat Singh in the custody. Based on the information received from Virat, the police arrested Shivam Thakur and Sanju Chauhan of the gang from MP, Rajesh Jaiswal from Mumbai, and Sitaram Gowda from Odisha.

WhatsApp used to run on Indian numbers from Pakistan

Accused Virat Singh said that the gang members used to provide Indian mobile numbers to their Pakistani handlers Asghar, Ashraf, Irfan and Akhtar. The thugs sitting in Pakistan used to run WhatsApp from these Indian numbers.

The Pakistani handlers used to cheat and the money was deposited in the bank accounts provided by Virat. Virat sent it to Mumbai via UPI. From where Rajesh Jaiswal used to change to bitcoin and send it to Pakistan.
