According to the city’s mayor Vadim Boichenko, five thousand people have died in the city, including 210 children, due to Russian attacks.

40 percent of the buildings in the city have been completely destroyed while most of the remaining buildings have been damaged.

The buildings that have been destroyed include schools, hospitals, factories, and community buildings.

Around 3,20,000 people have been able to escape from the city while 160,000 are still trapped and suffering.

Hundreds of people did not get essential items.

Of the five thousand people killed, there are several hundred who have died due to a lack of medicine and essential commodities.

Along with the Ukrainian government, the French government has described the situation in Maripol as deplorable. Maripol’s strategic location on the banks of the Azov Sea has become its biggest enemy.

The city is located between the Russian-occupied Crimea and the Russian-backed rebel-held Donbas.

According to the mayor of the city, 160,000 people trapped in the city are facing a crisis of food, water, and other essential commodities for three weeks. Their condition is heartbreaking.

The condition of millions of people in Chernihiv and Kharkiv is also bad. Russian forces have also laid siege in these two cities and there are constant attacks.

Fighting is reported to intensify in the area around the capital Kyiv. After several days, Russian planes here strengthened their hold on the ground by vigorous bombing.

Ukrainian army snatched three towns including Irpin.

The Ukrainian army has recaptured the town of Irpin near Kyiv from the possession of the Russian army. The Ukrainian army is constantly trying to get its lost ground here.

Earlier, the Ukrainian army has also snatched the nearby Tristanets and Sumy towns of Kyiv from the Russians.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry has claimed that its forces have destroyed a large arsenal in the Zitomyr area, west of Kyiv.

With this, 41 military bases in Ukraine have been attacked and damaged in the last 24 hours.

4 million people migrated from Ukraine.

Due to the war in Ukraine, which has a population of about 45 million, 4 million people have fled to neighboring countries. 98% of those who migrated are children, the elderly, and women.

Of these, 2.3 million people have reached Poland and six million have reached Romania. The United Nations has described it as the most serious refugee crisis since World War II.

It has been said that the situation is likely to worsen further. Despite this exodus, tens of millions of people are still trapped in Ukraine’s war zones.

EU may end golden passport policy.

The European Union (EU) is now considering scrapping its Golden Passport policy.

Taking advantage of this policy, a large number of people from the affluent sections of the Russian power had taken citizenship in European countries.

The 27 EU countries imposed some sanctions on Russia after the annexation of Crimea in 2014, but are now considering scrapping the golden passport policy after the attack on Ukraine.

The holders of this passport can also buy property there along with citizenship of European countries.

Chernobyl is again dangerous.

The threat of radiation exposure from the Chernobyl nuclear plant has once again arisen. This situation has arisen due to the fire in the nearby forest and the ongoing Russian bombing in the area.

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Iryana Vereshchuk has said that the irresponsible conduct of Russian forces occupying the plant poses a risk of radiation exposure.
