Farmer Protest: Five feet path opened on Tikri border, now two-wheelers and ambulances got permission.

Farmers have agreed to open the way from the Tikri border. At present, the way has been opened for two-wheelers and ambulances from here.

However, earlier the farmers were adamant about not opening the way. Till morning there was tension. After that there was a meeting of farmers with the Delhi Police, no consensus could be reached in this.

After this, the Tikri Border Committee of the United Kisan Morcha held its meeting. Later entrepreneurs also put forth their side.

After this, the farmers agreed to open the way for two-wheelers and ambulances on the border. The road was opened after agreeing in talks with the Delhi Police.

Although the farmers have also put a condition that the road will be opened in the morning and will be closed at night, the need for an ambulance will be there at night as well.

The exercise of opening a one-way road from the Tikri border has suffered a setback. The agitators have not given way more than five feet.

The agitators have become adamant about not giving way to cars and vehicles larger than this. On the other hand, Delhi and Haryana Police also have different views.

Delhi Police is ready to start only the traffic coming from Delhi through the Tikri border. He does not agree on entry into Delhi from here.

At present, the policy of both the states is also seeking a way for cars from the agitators from this border, but they are not ready.

This issue lasted for more than hours between the police and the agitators, but no agreement could be reached to open the entire route.

Accidents will happen if more than five feet of the path are given.

Buta Singh, a member of the United Kisan Morcha and the leader of the movement on the Tikri border, said after the meeting that Delhi and Haryana Police have different views on opening the way from the Tikri border.

While our opinion is different from both. If the road is open for cars, there will be daily accidents here. The talks that took place in the meeting will be conveyed to the United Front.

On November 6, there will be a meeting of the United Front on the Singhu border. Administrative officers will come to the spot at 10 am on Saturday. We have agreed to open a path five feet from here.
