Extortion Case Registered Against Parambir Singh

Extortion case registered against former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, FIR against 8 people including 6 policemen.

A case of extortion has been registered against former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh at Marine Drive Police Station. The complainant is a businessman.

According to the Mumbai Police, a total of eight people have been named in the FIR lodged, out of which six policemen are involved. The police have so far arrested two civilians in this case.

Maharashtra: Rajula Hidami, adopted studies after leaving the path of Naxalism.

Once on the path of Naxalism, it is not easy to get away from it.

But Rajula Hidami, a 17-year-old girl from Gadchiroli, not only managed to leave the path of Naxalism with the help of the police but also passed the 10th examination this year with 51.08 percent marks.

Now Rajula’s wish is to join the police department. Rajula comes from the tribal Gond community of the Naxalism-affected Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra.

When she was only 15 years old, a group of Naxalites came to her village Lawhari and took Rajula with them on the pretext of showing the way.

Then this team did not let her come back, but took her away with them. The Maoists first taught Rajula to use a walkie-talkie, then she was given the training to use a weapon.

Soon she became a member of the Korchi-Khobramenda-Kurkheda Dalam of the Maoists. At an early age, Rajula also took part in some campaigns against the police.

In the same Dalam, the uncle of Rajula’s relationship was also active with the Maoists.

In August 2018, Rajula’s uncle got disillusioned with the Maoists for some reason and surrendered to the Gondia police, and Rajula also came back with him.

She went to live with her new husband. There was no one at home.

Where would you send him? On the other hand, Rajula, who studied till the seventh standard, wanted to study further.

Baijal was determined to fulfill his wish and handed over this responsibility to his Additional SP Sandeep Atole. Rajula did not have any paper related to his studies.

Considering Rajula’s past, no school was ready to admit her, but the police managed to get her admitted in Class VIII in a tribal school and hostel in Deori.

Additional SP Atole bought her a copybook, bag, clothes, and cycle.

The Naxal cell of the police also recommended the teachers to help her so that she would not face any problem in adjusting to the new environment.

When this series of studies started, Rajula has passed the exams of class 8th, 9th, and now also of class 10th.
