A TV channel later quoted Kurdistan’s Anti-Terrorism Directorate as saying that a drone loaded with explosives was carried out late Saturday night.

In February this year, a rocket attack was carried out on the Irbil International Airport with the aim of targeting the US military based in northern Iraq.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced that it has decided to resume commercial flights to Kabul from Monday. PIA CEO Arshad Malik gave this information to Xinhua news agency on Saturday.
Malik said the first flight would leave on Monday from Islamabad for Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. This will be the first flight after the Taliban took over Kabul.
The PIA official said that permission for the flight to land at Kabul airport has been given by the Civil Aviation Authority of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, PIA spokesman Abdullah Hafeez Khan said that Pakistan has got all technical clearances for flight operations, and an Airbus A320 jet will take passengers from Islamabad to Kabul.
