England beat West Indies by 34 runs, Moeen Ali shines, series level 2-2: Eng vs WI.

England beat West Indies by 34 runs in the fourth T20I of the five-match series on the back of stand-in captain Moeen Ali’s all-around performance.

With this win, England has leveled the five-match series 2-2 and the series decider will be held on Sunday evening.

Chasing the target of 194 runs, the West Indies team fell 34 runs behind the target. Kyle Meyers (40) and Jason Holder (36) showed a struggle, but their efforts, in the end, proved to be insufficient.

Brandon King (26) and Kyle Meyers (40) gave the hosts a quick start but it was stopped by Moeen Ali (2-28). He sent both of them to the pavilion.

Apart from this, spinners Adil Rashid (1-28) and Liam Livingstone (1-18) played him well. Nicholas Pooran scored 22 and Rovman Powell scored 5.

Captain Kieron Pollard was seen struggling in front of the England bowlers. He scored 18 runs in 16 balls and remained unbeaten. While Darren Bravo remained unbeaten on three runs in eight balls.

Earlier, Moeen Ali smashed 63 runs in just 28 balls with 1 four and 7 sixes to help England post 193/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Jason Roy (52) and James Vince (34) also batted well for England.

Both shared a partnership of 85 runs. Jason Holder took three wickets for West Indies. In the 18th over, Moeen hit Holder for four sixes.

Tom Banton scored four, Livingstone scored 16. Sam Billings scored 13 runs in four balls and Chris Jordan remained unbeaten on zero. Phillip Salt was out for a duck.

Team India kept these two players on standby for the series against West Indies.

Team India has added Tamil Nadu cricketers Shah Rukh Khan and Ravi Srinivasan Sai Kishore as standby players for the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies.

The hosts have already announced an 18-man squad for three ODIs and three T20Is. Before the selection of the team, it was believed that Shahrukh could get a chance.

But the selectors gave Deepak Hooda a chance in the ODIs. The series will start on February 6. first-day match will be played.
