As a result of which four terrorists were killed. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists during this period.

Earlier on August 15, security forces had killed a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation in the Mir Ali area of ​​the North Waziristan district.

The ISPR said in a statement that during the operation in the Mir Ali area, there was a fierce exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, in which one terrorist was killed.

Earlier in June, terrorists targeted security forces in the North Waziristan district of the country’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
