Encounter between army and terrorists in Pakistan’s North Waziristan, five soldiers were killed.
Five Pakistani soldiers have been killed during a gunfight with terrorists in North Waziristan, Pakistan.
The Inter-Services Publication Relations (ISPR) said that the five Pakistani soldiers were killed in the Boya area of North Waziristan on Monday.
According to the Geo News report, there was a fierce exchange of fire between the soldiers and the terrorists during the Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) operation.
The operation is carried out to eliminate terrorists.
The Inter-Services Publication Relations (ISPR) said that the operation is currently being carried out to eliminate the terrorists present in the area.
The army’s media wing said that our troops had effectively captured the terrorists’ positions.
As a result of which four terrorists were killed. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists during this period.

The ISPR said that the slain terrorists have been actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent civilians, Geo News reported.
Apart from this, incidents of attacks on police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also increasing. Pakistani authorities have tightened security at all the posts.
A terrorist has already been killed.
Earlier on August 15, security forces had killed a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation in the Mir Ali area of the North Waziristan district.
The ISPR said in a statement that during the operation in the Mir Ali area, there was a fierce exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, in which one terrorist was killed.
A Pakistani soldier was killed in an encounter.
Earlier in June, terrorists targeted security forces in the North Waziristan district of the country’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
