Elon Musk resigns from the Endeavor Board of Directors, a reason not disclosed.
Tesla founder Elon Musk has resigned from the board of directors of Hollywood conglomerate Endeavor Group Holdings, whose assets include the William Morris Talent Agency and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company announced Elon Musk’s departure in its annual report shared with the SEC, saying that his resignation would be effective June 30, 2022.
An Endeavor spokesperson said, “We thank Elon Musk for his commitment to Endeavor during our first year as a public company, in which he has made a meaningful contribution to our long-term strategy and vision for the future of sports and entertainment.”
“The spokesperson said that ‘we know that their demand is high and time is short. We appreciate their support.”
However, no information has been revealed on why Elon Musk has resigned. The company noted that Musk notified his resignation on March 12 and that it was not due to any sort of controversy.
Meanwhile, in addition to running Tesla, Musk is also the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX.
Tesla struggling to enter India.
Elon Musk’s Tesla is struggling to do business in India. There is no proper coordination between the company and the Government of India.
Elon Musk has said many times that the tax on luxury cars imported into India is too high. Actually, Tesla wants to reduce the import duty on its cars, for which the Indian government is not ready.
Elon Musk, while replying to a Twitter user some time ago, said that Tesla is taking time to come to India because it is taking time to settle some things with the government.
Let us tell you that the Indian government wants Tesla to manufacture and sell cars in India itself, while Tesla wants to import and sell cars during the initial business.
