ED Summoned Amarinder Singh’s Son Raninder For Questioning

ED summoned Captain Amarinder Singh’s son Raninder for questioning, Rawat said – see the timing of summons.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Raninder Singh, son of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, for questioning in the foreign exchange violation case.

He has been asked to appear in ED’s office in Jalandhar on 27 October. At the same time, Harish Rawat, the Punjab in-charge of Congress has made a strong comment on this matter. Said look at the timing of ED summons.

The captain is the voice of the farmers, if you raise your voice, ED, Income Tax, CBI, all will be put behind you.

Let me tell you, ED has sent this summons in connection with a case filed under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) for allegedly making undisclosed assets abroad. In 2016 also, the ED interrogated Raninder in this case.

He was questioned about allegedly transferring funds to Swiss accounts, forming a trust, and setting up some subsidiaries in the British Virgin Islands.

The Income Tax Department was the first to investigate the alleged cases of making property abroad. A case was registered in Ludhiana in this case. Right now this matter is in court. Raninder Singh denied any wrongdoing in it.

Sources say that the re-statement of Raninder Singh may be recorded. In 2016, Raninder attended the ED office, but did not hand over the documents to ED.

After this, the ED had sought documents from the Income Tax Department regarding foreign bank accounts and properties created in India and abroad, but the documents were not found from there either.

Harish Rawat tweeted that no one can suppress the voice of Captain Amarinder Singh. Captain Amarinder Singh is the voice of Punjab, is the voice of farmers across the country, just look at the timing of ED summons.

If you raise your voice, then ED, Income Tax, CBI, all will be put behind you, this is the message, this is the message.

Politics has intensified in Punjab on the agricultural laws of the central government and the agricultural bills passed by the state government. Opposition parties are fiercely attacking Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.

Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal and Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab President Bhagwant Mann have accused Captain Amarinder of ignoring and misleading the interests of farmers. Sukhbir said that Amarinder’s PM is a fix game with Narendra Modi.
