During interrogation, he could not give satisfactory answers to the questions related to his relationship with terrorist Naveed and DSP Devendra Singh and smuggling of arms. The NIA arrested him after gathering strong evidence against him.

Sources associated with the NIA said that the name of this partner of terrorists Naveed Babu and Devendra Singh is Tafazul Hussain Parimu. His family lives in Naugam area of ​​Srinagar while he has been living in Hyderpora for some time.

The NIA team raided his house in the last week of September about a fortnight ago and seized some documents. He was not detained at that time. After this, the NIA called him for questioning.

During interrogation, he could not give satisfactory answers to the questions related to his relationship with terrorist Naveed and DSP Devendra Singh and the smuggling of arms. The NIA arrested him after gathering strong evidence against him.

He said that he was an associate of Tariq Mir who was already caught in this case. Tafazul used to send weapons and other accessories to the terrorists of Hizbul through Mir. Tariq Mir was arrested on 29 April.

On January 11, the Jammu and Kashmir police caught police DSP Devendra Singh on Srinagar-Jammu highway in a car with notorious Hizbul terrorist Naveed Babu, Ahmed Rather, Shafi Irfan Mir aka Advocate.

DSP was trying to bring Navid Babu and his associates to Jammu safely. The very next day of the arrest, the police administration suspended Devendra Singh. The matter was then referred to the NIA. Tafjul has been named by Tariq Mir and Naveed Mushtaq as well as DSP Devendra Singh.
