Demand for withdrawal of suspension of MPs in Rajya Sabha, Congress MPs meeting before the session. The monsoon session of Parliament continues. There is a strong demand for withdrawal of suspension of MPs in the Rajya Sabha, to which Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that if they regret their actions, they can be called back.

Agriculture bill should also be back with suspension: Congress MP
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Syed Nasir Hussain said, “All opposition parties boycott the remaining session. They appealed to MPs sitting on the dharna to end it and join the boycott of the remaining session.”
He further said, ‘We want to withdraw not only the suspension but also the return of the Agriculture Bill so that proper voting can be done on it. But nothing of this sort is going to happen because the Chairman does not agree to listen to anyone. ‘
He further said, ‘We have made three important demands in the Rajya Sabha on behalf of the Congress party. The first demand is that the government should introduce a new bill which ensures that no private company can buy any produce from farmers under MSP. Our second demand is that the MSP should be fixed in the country under the Swaminathan formula.
Our third demand is that the Government of India, the State Government, or the Food Corporation of India should ensure that their produce is purchased from the farmers at the prescribed MSP rate. Till these three demands are considered, we will boycott the proceedings of the House.
He also said that the fourth important thing that I have said in the Rajya Sabha is that we have requested that the eight MPs who have been suspended should be called back but this is our request and not the demand.
Opposition to boycott session: Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi
The Leader of Opposition further said, “The MSP should be announced when this bill was being brought, but it was not done. Well the MSP was later announced which we welcome. We have kept three conditions regarding MSP till this is fulfilled, this buyout will continue.
Ghulam Nabi said, ‘Until the suspension of our MPs is withdrawn and our demands related to the farmers’ bills are not considered, the Opposition goes by the session. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress MP Ghulam Nabi Azad said on Tuesday, “The suspension of 8 MPs should be withdrawn.”
He said, ‘I do not think anyone is happy with what happened in the House in the last two days … crores of people see those who represent crores of people. The goal of coming here should be fulfilled.
Chairman said- analyze opposition
Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu urged the opposition to rethink and analyze. He said, ‘I am not happy with the suspension of the members of the House. This action has been taken regarding his conduct.
SP MP said – will boycott the entire session
Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav said, ‘I am a senior MP, I apologized for what happened in the house, despite this, there was no response. This is quite outrageous. My party has decided to boycott the entire session.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said, “If we talk about the numbers, on that day we had 110 votes in favor and 72 in their favor. If they (uncontrolled behavior by 8 MPs) regret this, then the government agrees that they should not get out of the House. ‘
Former Prime Minister and Rajya Sabha MP HD Deve Gowda said, ‘Both the government and the opposition should sit together to run the House. Cooperation should be accompanied by democracy.
Uproar on agricultural bill
On Monday, Speaker Venkaiah Naidu suspended eight Rajya Sabha MPs who created a ruckus in protest against the Agriculture Bill from the proceedings of the House for seven days, the remaining session. After the suspension, angry MPs sat on a dharna in the premises of the House.
In the night, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor came to meet the MPs sitting on the dharna and this morning the Deputy Speaker of the House Harivansh took tea for these MPs. The monsoon session of Parliament began on 14 September. On the first day of the session, the Lok Sabha met from 9 am to 1 pm.
After this, the meeting is being held from 3 pm to 7 pm. Similarly, there was a meeting in the Rajya Sabha on the first day i.e. 14 September from 3 pm to 7 pm. After this, there is a meeting from 9 am to 1 pm every day. Also, Saturdays and Sundays are not being allowed in this session.
