A social organization named Yogakshema has submitted a memorandum to Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, expressing concern over violence in Bengal and demanding martyr status.

The Governor himself will visit the violence-affected areas on Thursday. He will visit various areas including Cooch Behar and Sheetalchi and will meet the victims.

BJP accused of beating up Trinamool leader in Birbhum.

The BJP has been accused of beating up the Trinamool leader. The incident took place in Namur in the Birbhum district. The deceased leader’s name is Shyamal Das (45), who hailed from the Pakur Hans area of ​​Namur.

The police are investigating the incident. According to the information, in the evening of May 6, Trinamool leader Shyamal Das went to Ranipur for his business work.

It is alleged that at the same time, BJP dependent goons beat him recklessly. The locals came and rescued her from the attackers and she was taken to Bolpur subdivision hospital in critical condition.

In view of his condition, he was admitted to Bardhaman Medical College and Hospital and then to SSKM Hospital in Kolkata, where he died.

On the incident, Subrata Bhattacharya, the block president of the Trinamool Congress in Nanur, alleged that the atrocities of BJP goons had increased in the area.

The BJP wants to create panic among the people by executing such incidents. BJP goons have beaten and killed Shyamal Das. They demanded stern action from the police against such criminals.

At the same time, BJP leader and District Committee member Ashtam Mandal has denied the charge and said that the BJP has no connection with the incident. Police should investigate this incident.
