A woman was allegedly gang-raped at a New Delhi railway station. Police are investigating the case.
According to the information received from the sources, the incident has been carried out in a room built on the platform of the railway station.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, lives in Madhya district with her family.
The woman says that some time ago she was introduced to a young man, who told her that he was working in the railways and could arrange a job for her.
After this, both of them started talking on the phone.
The accused were intoxicated.
The youth called the woman to the railway station on the pretext of meeting her on Thursday night.
On reaching the woman, he took her to a room on platforms number 8-9. After some time, his three friends also came there, who had drunk alcohol.
The woman has alleged that two of the four accused committed the rape on her. Meanwhile, two other accused were present there. After the incident, he threatened the woman and chased her away.
Delhi Crime: The accused are railway employees in the electricity department.
In this case, DCP Railway Harendra Singh said that a 30-year-old woman was gang-raped at the New Delhi railway station.
On Thursday (21-07-22) night, a rape was committed in the hut of the electricity maintenance staff on platforms 8-9 of the station.
In this, all the four accused are Railway employees in the Electricity Department and have been arrested.
