Dawood And Chhota Shakeel Have Threatened Swami Chakrapani
Dawood and Chhota Shakeel have threatened Swami Chakrapani.
He said in the court that Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel are after his life, and he has received threats from them.
The Delhi High Court has directed the Central Government and Delhi Police to assess the security of Akhil Bharat Mahasabha President Swami Chakrapani.
Chakrapani filed a petition claiming that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel have threatened his life and he has received threats.
A bench of Justice Rekha Palli issued notices to the Central Government and Delhi Police and directed them to file their reply on the matter. The next hearing in the matter will be on October 5.
Senior advocate Vikas Singh, appearing for Chakrapani, sought direction from the authorities to return the Z category security of Chakrapani.
He said that Chakrapani’s Z category security has been withdrawn and put in the X category. Under this, they have only one security personnel.
He said the security provided to Chakrapani was not adequate and his life was in danger. He said that along with Dawood Ibrahim, Chakrapani is also getting threats from Chhota Shakeel.
At the same time, advocate Ajay Digpal, appearing for the Central Government, said that any person is given security on the basis of the assessment made by the police.
The petition, filed through advocate Rajesh Raina, said that the security provided to him was arbitrary and unjustified to protect his life.
He claimed that the Z-category security was withdrawn in September despite the constant threat to his life.
In 2017, Chakrapani was provided Z category security after Chakrapani received death threats from underworld don Dawood and Chhota Shakeel.
In the year 2015, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj had successfully bid for the car of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim during the auction.
He had bought Dawood’s car for just Rs 32,000. After this, on December 24, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj publicly set this car on fire with the poster of Dawood.
