Covid Complaint Cell to be opened in every district within 48 hours: Strict order of Allahabad High Court.

Expressing concern over the spread of corona infection in rural areas and small towns and towns, Allahabad HC said that community and primary health centers still do not have treatment facilities for Covid patients.

People are dying for lack of treatment. The court has sought details of facilities and testing in small towns, cities, and villages from the state government.

The court has ordered the opening of Covid Complaint Cell in every district within 48 hours to investigate complaints of life-saving drugs and not getting the right treatment to patients suffering from Corana.

The judicial officer at the level of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Professor of Medical College, and an Administrative Officer of ADM rank will be members of this committee.

Complaints can be made directly from the SDM of the Tehsil in rural areas, who will forward the complaints to the Complaints Committee.

In the affidavit related to the issuance of medical bulletins by hospitals, availability of oxygen, and life-saving medicines as per instructions given by the High Court on 27 April.

Allahabad High Court, following the previous instructions, declared the affidavit submitted by the Additional Solicitor General as unsatisfactory.

The court has also expressed displeasure over the nutritious diet being provided to the Covid patients in hospitals and the court not providing the date-wise details of deaths from Corona.

ASGI assured the court to submit a report of compliance with the orders at the next hearing.

In compliance with the order given to the PWD to apply the vaccine, the state government said that it was following the guidelines of the central government. The center’s guideline has given any instructions in this regard.

Similarly, in the matter of making registration mandatory for people under 45 years of age to get vaccinated.

The court has asked the central government to plan what to do in case of vaccination to uneducated people and laborers who are not able to do their own online registration.

The court has also asked the state government that what is the problem in making its own policy to apply vaccines to differently-abled people.

The court again expressed dissatisfaction with DM Meerut’s investigation report: The court expressed dissatisfaction with DM Meerut’s investigation report in the case of 20 deaths due to lack of oxygen in Meerut.

The bench also expressed dissatisfaction over the clarification given by the Principal of the Medical College.He said that the deaths occurred due to suspected corona patients because their NTPC test report had not been received.

On this, the court said that if the dead bodies of suspected patients are handed over to their families, it is not a proper step.

If any patient dies before the test report arrives and has influenza-like symptoms, it should be treated as a suspected corona death and be cremated under the protocol.

Home Secretary filed affidavit: The Home Secretary filed an affidavit that more than two lakh 92 thousand houses have been surveyed under the survey started in rural areas from May 5.

Corona-like symptoms have been found in 4,24,631 people. They have been provided with a kit of medicines.

Prohibition of harassment at Sun Hospital: The court has banned the torture action against Sun Hospital of Lucknow under an FIR registered against it.

The application was filed on behalf of the hospital stating that it has responded to the show-cause notice issued by the administration.

But it was not given any receipt and a case was filed without consideration whereas in the hospital on May 1 and 2 there was no oxygen supply.
