Corona update: After the number of new cases steadily decreased, the number of active corona patients decreased to 2,554.

India recorded 188 new cases of coronavirus while the number of cases being treated fell to 2,554.

Data updated to 8 am shows that the total number of recorded Covid cases is 4,46,79,319 and the number of deaths is 5. ≤30,710.

The ministry said daily positivity was recorded at 0.10% while weekly positivity was pegged at 0.12%.

Corona update: According to the website of the Ministry of Health, active cases account for 0.01% of the total number of infections.

Minstry said active Covid cases fell by 16 in 24 hours and added that the number of people recovered had increased to 4, 41, 46,055, while the death rate increased. 1.19% was recorded.

According to the ministry’s website, so far, 220.12 doses of the Covid vaccine have been used in the country.

It surpassed 600,000 on September 28, 700,000 on October 11, 80,000 on October 29, 900,000 on November 20, and one core on December 19, 2020.

Mumbai: Doctor arrested for molesting female colleague, threatened to defame her

A 27-year-old doctor from a civic hospital in Mumbai has been arrested for molesting a former female colleague.

Police further informed that an FIR for molestation and other related offenses was registered and the accused was arrested late Tuesday night.

According to the Dindoshi police, the 30-year-old woman doctor previously worked with the accused in a corporation-run hospital, the leading news agency reported.

The doctor had threatened to make the morphed pictures viral.

In her complaint, the woman said that earlier this week, the doctor came to the dispensary of a colleague and started quarreling over some old issue.

Apart from this, he also misbehaved. The woman further said that the doctor also threatened to upload her molested photographs on social media and defame her.
