Corona explosion in a school in Bangalore, 60 students found positive, the school closed.
The cases of coronavirus are continuously decreasing in the country. Meanwhile, schools are being opened in many states.
But in the meantime, a case of 60 students being found corona positive in a school in Bengaluru city of Karnataka has come to the fore.
After this, the school has been closed. 60 students of a residential school in the Electronic City of Bangalore got infected with the coronavirus.
One of these students had a high fever, who is being treated at Lady Curzon and Boring Hospital.
The rest of the students of Sri Chaitanya Girls Residential School have been isolated in the school premises itself.
Civic body officials said that they are being looked after by the staff of the private health facility. The school has been closed and may reopen on or after 20 October.
Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner J Manjunath told that the name of the school is Sri Chaitanya Shikshan Sansthan.
On Sunday evening, a student complained of vomiting and diarrhea. After which we immediately swung into action.
The deputy commissioner said that there were a total of 480 students in the school, all were screened. Out of them, the corona report of 60 students has come positive.
After 60 students of Sri Chaitanya Shikshan Sansthan were found corona positive, the remaining students have been kept in the isolation center in the school premises itself.
All of them are without symptoms. Municipal officials said that the staff of a private health facility is taking care of them. The school has now been closed and may reopen on or after 20 October.
