Corona attack on a cruise, 66 passengers out of 2 thousand positives, sent back to Mumbai from Goa.

There has been a stir after getting 66 corona infected in Cordelia Cruises, who arrived in Goa from Mumbai. Cruise has been sent back to Mumbai after being found corona infected.

The move was taken after some infected persons refused to be admitted to a corona treatment center in Goa.

A shipping agency official gave this information on Tuesday. He said that the infected passengers would be isolated on the ship.

Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said on Monday that out of 2,000 passengers on board the Cordelia cruise ship that came from Mumbai to Goa, 66 passengers have been found to be corona infected.

Corona attack on a cruise: The official said that after a crew member was found infected with the coronavirus on Sunday, the corona test of the people on board the ship was done.

Govind Pernulkar, operations manager of JM Baksi & Co, a local ship agent, told the leading news agency that the ship was sent back at 11.30 pm on Monday after 27 passengers were found to be corona positive.

The ship had to be sent back after Corona-positive passengers refused to be admitted to a Corona treatment center in Goa. Only six crew members out of a total of 66 were landed in Goa.

Pernulkar said that after considering the situation, the South Goa district administration ordered that the ship be sent back to Mumbai along with all the passengers.

The passengers who were shifted to the treatment center were also sent back on the ship to go to Mumbai.

He said that some infected persons who refused to leave the ship were traveling with their families, who were not found infected.
