Congress party will run as per the wishes of the family, Sonia Gandhi proved this by postponing the date of the election of the new president.

If anything is clear from Sonia Gandhi’s address in the Congress Working Committee meeting, it is that the party will continue to run as it was.

In this meeting, Sonia Gandhi not only described herself as the full-time president but also reprimanded the leaders of the G-23 group for talking through the media.

If he is the full-time president, then why did he take over as the interim president after Rahul Gandhi stepped down as the president?

The question is also that if he is a full-time president, then what is the need of electing a new president and if so, what is the point of postponing him again?

It is clear that the answers to these questions are not going to come because Congress will have what the Gandhi family wants.

Now the family is the party and that is why it is not surprising that the demand for making Rahul Gandhi the President has started afresh.

If Rahul Gandhi wants to become the president, then there is no one to stop him, because, in the party, he is the only one who is an expert in the sycophancy of the Gandhi family.

This is more evident from the reprimands of the G-23 leaders.

After all, when Rahul Gandhi has to become the president and Sonia Gandhi herself wants the same, then what is the purpose of allowing him to run the party from behind the scenes?

Is it because accountability can be avoided? Of course, it is for the Gandhi family to decide how they want to run the Congress.

But the arbitrary manner in which the party is being run for the past few years, private companies can run, not political parties.

The problem of Congress is not only that the party cannot function without the family, but also that the family members are using the situation in an unreasonable and arbitrary manner.

They, especially Rahul Gandhi, are behaving as if it is their birthright to rule the country. He surrounds the Modi government every day on different issues but rarely has he talked about solving any issue.

All their politics tells that the job of the opposition is only to curse and stigmatize the government. Will Congress keep on leveling allegations till it comes to power?

Is it not its responsibility as the largest opposition party to discuss solutions to the problems that surround the government?
