The remaining changes were discussed in the meeting of disgruntled leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and party-working president Sonia Gandhi on Friday.

From Azad’s own words, it is beginning to indicate that there will be an election for the President, but by collective decision at every level, such people will be given space, who have the capacity to perform.

Ability will be important, not sycophancy. The Parliamentary Board may be brought back into existence for policy decisions.

The responsibility of taking policy decisions will be on the parliamentary board

The demand for the constitution of the Parliamentary Board is old. The responsibility of taking policy decisions will be on this board, which will decide what line the party should take on which issue.

Other than this, no person will be allowed to go.

Issues like forging alliances with other parties in the states may also come under the purview of the Parliamentary Board.

Keep in mind that be it the Assam elections or the Bengal elections, questions were raised about the alliance from the disgruntled leaders.

Conciliation exercise going on.

Rahul Gandhi took the first major step towards reconciliation on Thursday. He held a meeting with the senior leadership of the disgruntled camp Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

In this meeting, some concrete proposals were presented by the Congress leadership to the disgruntled leaders to solve the party’s crisis.

After meeting Rahul, Bhupendra Hooda went straight to Ghulam Nabi Azad’s house. There, proposals for reconciliation were discussed with Azad and Anand Sharma.

After this, another meeting of disgruntled leaders was held at Azad’s house at 7 pm on Thursday itself, in which the proposals of the party leadership were discussed in detail.

The election of the party president will be held by August-September.

It is believed that the election of the party president will be held by August-September. Ghulam Nabi Azad has also talked about linking the appointment in the Central Election Committee with the election.

That is, through elections at every level, efforts will be made to bring such people, in whom more and more people have confidence.

Those who can bring about a change in the situation on the ground by their ability and sycophancy will not be considered as a merit.
