Commonwealth Games 2022 opening ceremony: Commonwealth Games 2022 started with a colorful program at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

The opening ceremony was planned by Steven Knight, the creator of the hit Birmingham-based series Peaky Blinders.

This time in the absence of Indian team flag bearer Neeraj Chopra, women’s badminton star PV Sindhu and Indian men’s hockey team captain Manpreet Singh were present.

India’s entry under the leadership of PV Sindhu and Manpreet Singh.

PV Sindhu and Manpreet Singh led the Indian contingent of athletes participating in the 22nd Commonwealth Games.

All the players from the Indian contingent were seen in the Kali Bandgala shoot.

PV Sindhu and Manpreet Singh held the tricolor at the fore while other team players completed their march, waving flags in their respective hands, greeting the entire stadium spectators.

The spectators present in the stadium also welcomed the Indian players loudly and the name India was resonating in the stadium.

Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Bismah Maroof, who returned to the Cricket World Cup after giving birth to her daughter earlier this year, led the Pakistan contingent at the opening ceremony.

After Australia, African countries entered the stadium. Semesa Nasseruvati and Nabili Vatunisolo of Fiji raise their country’s flag during the Athlete’s Parade.

After this, the team of South African athletes took entry on the field.

Australia first stepped into the stadium in the athletes’ march. The last Commonwealth Games were organized in Australia and this time the largest contingent in this event is also from this country.

Australia’s Eddie Ockenden leads the contingent during the athlete’s parade with the flag.

People from different places have settled in Birmingham and the culture here is also different. About 1500 artists introduced the culture here.

Apart from this, a large bull ring was also displayed. The Bull is watched with horror in Birmingham. The height of the bull ring displayed in the stadium was 25 feet.
